If you're already learning French at school (whatever level) and do experience hardship, I will take you back to the last point in your lessons you felt it was easy and interesting and moving forward from that point locate and remove all the "bugs" and misunderstandings you encountered.

If you're starting from scratch, I will to begin with, help you build as many bridges as possible between French and English to speed up the learning process,highlighting what's similar and what's completely different between both languages (always a fun process). Then using a gradual approach with simple texts start taking apart the language and also train you to a level of fluency in understanding oral speech and being understood in return.
