When you join me for lessons, you’re stepping into a space designed to build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking. I don’t just teach social sciences—I help you understand the “why” behind them. Together we’ll explore how society works, how people behave, and how ideas shape the world, using real-world examples and clear strategies that make complex theories accessible and engaging.
My sessions combine structure with flexibility. I use PowerPoints to break down key concepts, a virtual whiteboard to work through problems interactively, and model answers to show you exactly what examiners expect. At times, lessons take on a seminar style, encouraging discussion, debate, and critique so you can develop independent thinking and strong arguments. We’ll also practice essay writing using frameworks like PEECL, and I’ll provide detailed feedback after each session so you know your strengths and clear next steps.
Content is always tailored to your goals—whether you’re preparing for exams, improving essay skills, or simply exploring social sciences more deeply as a subject. I bring in case studies, texts, and contemporary examples to make learning relevant and memorable, while also helping you connect theory to everyday life in meaningful ways that inspire curiosity.
With six years of international teaching experience and an MPhil in Criminological Research from Cambridge, I combine academic rigour with a supportive, student-centred approach. My aim is not only to help you achieve higher grades, but also to leave you with genuine enthusiasm for learning, transferable skills for future study, and the confidence to succeed beyond the classroom.
