Lamour Ansah

I have experience teaching music to students of all ages, from preschool children and teenagers to adults, in both private and school settings. I believe that anyone can learn music, regardless of their age or experience. Whether you are taking your very first steps in music or pursuing a long-held dream, I aim to make learning an enjoyable, rewarding and inspiring experience.

My teaching style is structured yet flexible, allowing me to tailor each lesson to the individual student’s needs, interests and learning style. I believe music should be learned as naturally as we learn to speak as babies, through listening, exploration, repetition and practice. Learning music should not feel unnecessarily complicated or intimidating; instead, it should be an exciting journey of discovery where students develop their skills at a comfortable pace.

While I encourage students to enjoy the learning process, I also believe in aiming high and helping everyone reach their full potential. I set meaningful goals, provide guidance and encouragement, and challenge my students to achieve more than they initially thought possible. Over the years, several of my students have achieved distinctions in their music examinations and won medals in music competitions.

However, success is not only measured by awards or exam results. Building confidence, developing independence and discovering a genuine love for music are equally important achievements.

My ultimate goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where every student feels encouraged to explore their musical abilities, overcome challenges and celebrate their progress. Music is for everyone, and I am passionate about helping each student discover just how far their musical journey can take them!
