I do have some teaching guidelines which I follow, but to be honest, I don't have a pre-defined teaching methodology, as each case is different in terms of available resources/material, time, and the student's prior knowledge and objectives.
Therefore, I try to be flexible and the methodology/approach is agreed with the student on our first meeting/call.
In general, I like to have the material beforehand (at least 2 days before the session) and go through it to understand what is important and what is not.
I then make my notes and formula sheets and share them with the student so he/she can have all relevant information consolidated in a few easy-to-read documents.
Additionally, depending on material availability, I solve exercises and go through them with the student. Through the years, I have accumulated exercises and their solutions for many courses.
