Hello! My name is Kunyue Li, and I’m a native Chinese speaker with fluent and accurate Mandarin.
My experience:
Teaching has always been a natural part of my life — I taught my younger sister how to speak when she was a baby, and I grew up helping many of my younger cousins with their homework. As a university student, I worked as a part-time tutor, helping students of different ages improve their academic performance and develop genuine interest in learning. Many of my students not only raised their grades significantly but also became more confident and motivated learners.

My teaching format
My teaching approach focuses on making Chinese both interesting and practical for students.
First, I like to introduce Chinese culture and history in my lessons to help students understand the language in its cultural context. Stories, traditions, and customs make learning more vivid and meaningful.
Second, I teach Chinese vocabulary through word formation and structure, which helps students remember new words more easily and recognize patterns in the language.
Third, I often design interactive scenarios that allow students to apply what they’ve learned in real-life situations, so they can gain confidence in using Chinese naturally.
Finally, if a student’s goal is to pass an exam, I am happy to provide focused guidance , including explaining test questions, designing practice quizzes, and offering strategies for improvement.

Overall, my goal is to help every student learn Chinese effectively while discovering the joy of the language and its rich culture.
