This will typically involve joint mobility exercises, a series of dynamic stretches to stretch the muscles, and finished with a pulse raiser to get your heart pumping.
Following from the warm up, we will move into some padwork work. This will be a chance to get the gloves on and put your hands to work! What we focus on will vary depending on your skill level and fitness goals. If you’re a beginner looking to improve your skill, I will give thorough guidance as we go through the work. If you’re more advanced, we can keep everything fast and sharp.
And to finish up sessions before cooling down, the session will end with one of the following: footwork drills to keep you fast on your feet and improve your movement, circuits to improve overall strength and cardiovascular fitness, Core finisher with strong focus in the abdominal area, or a form of HIIT (similar to a circuit but more focus on cardiovascular) involving more high intensity intervals.
Lastly after having successfully smashed through the session, we will complete an in depth cool down first by doing some light exercise to gradually bring the heart rate down. This could be some gentle skipping, or evening just a few laps of walking. Once your heart rate has settled, we will finish up with some static stretches targeting each area of the body to stretch each muscle out fully and leave your muscles feeling relaxed after a good session!
