I have around five years of tutoring experience and work with students across a range of ages and abilities, from 7+ and 11+ entrance exams through to GCSE and A-level. I achieved 10 Grade 9s at GCSE and A*AAA at A-level, so I understand both the subject knowledge and exam technique needed to achieve strong results.
My lessons are structured but highly personalised. I usually begin by identifying the areas a student finds most difficult, then break these topics down into clear, manageable steps. I use worked examples, targeted practice, past-paper questions and regular recap to make sure students are not just memorising methods, but genuinely understand what they are doing.
For younger students, I focus on building strong foundations, confidence and problem-solving ability. For GCSE and A-level students, I place more emphasis on exam technique, timing, mark schemes and identifying the most efficient way to approach different question types.
I am patient, organised and encouraging, and I try to create lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My aim is to make Maths feel less intimidating, improve confidence, and help each student make consistent progress towards their academic goals.
