Kishore Ravikumar

Hello! I’m Kishore, a passionate and experienced music tutor currently based in Huddersfield. I have several years of teaching experience at PMA School of Music, Chennai and Yazh academy, Chennai in India, where I trained students in guitar and keyboard across different age groups and skill levels.

I'm pursuing a Grade 8 in Western Classical Guitar from Trinity College London, and I’m deeply committed to helping each student grow musically with confidence and creativity. My lessons are carefully structured to balance music theory, technique, and practical application, ensuring that every learner develops a strong foundation and musical awareness.

I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles — whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced player aiming to refine your skills. My sessions include warm-ups, ear training, rhythm exercises, sight-reading practice, and performance coaching. I also encourage students to explore a variety of genres such as classical, pop, and contemporary music to broaden their musical understanding.

Above all, my goal is to make learning music enjoyable, inspiring, and fulfilling. I believe that patience, encouragement, and consistency are the keys to progress and I strive to create a positive, motivating environment where every student feels supported.
