I teach and mentor students in design-thinking, across numerous disciplines, fostering an exciting classroom environment whether in-person or online. Experienced in developing engaging curricula, including graphic design ideation, brief interpretation, visual art techniques and software know-how. My varied skills help to curate content with sensitivity and vision, and deliver inspiring lessons or briefs. I believe in making a meaningful impact, helping students grow in confidence, ready for their next step in education or successful careers in the creative industry. My degree is in Fine Art, majoring in Graphic Design. Art Directed in book and magazine publishing before starting to teach and lecture visual art and design from junior school aged children to adults. But the majority of my experience has been working with high school and university students. I believe that design thinking is teachable through a process that begins with research and takes one through a process of understanding a 'problem' in order to find or create a solution. I am passionate about empowering people to fearlessly tackle some of the social and environmental challenges of the world we live in!
