My lessons are relaxed, supportive 1-to-1 critiques designed to meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence. We work together using the exam specification and marking criteria in a clear, accessible way to identify gaps, improve understanding and make portfolios stronger. Whether a student is aiming for a top grade or working towards a secure pass, sessions are tailored to their needs and pace.
I have 8 years of classroom experience teaching GCSE Art and a strong understanding of how work is assessed. I help students understand what examiners are really looking for, breaking this down into manageable, achievable steps. Feedback is clear, honest and encouraging, helping students feel motivated rather than overwhelmed.
Students often come to me feeling stuck, behind, or unsure how to improve. I help them organise their work, refine ideas, strengthen written elements and make simple but effective changes that quickly raise marks. For higher-achieving students, I provide challenge and direction to push work further; for struggling students, I focus on building confidence, clarity and consistency. GCSE Art should feel supportive, achievable and enjoyable and my aim is for every student to leave sessions feeling clearer, more confident and proud of their progress.

I also support A-level Art students with idea development, contextual research and portfolio refinement. Sessions help students strengthen personal responses, improve written analysis and make confident, independent decisions. Whether preparing for assessment or resolving creative blocks, I offer clear guidance that helps students work with greater clarity, ambition and purpose.
