As Kinza Ahmed, a dedicated private tutor and published author with a Master's in English Literature from Keele University (and a previous top-ranked Master's from the University of the Punjab), I bring over five years of experience facilitating engaging workshops and one-on-one sessions for secondary students. My background includes boosting literacy and analytical skills for 50+ young learners at SWOT Boys Higher Secondary School, where I tailored curricula to spark curiosity and confidence. I've also won the Chief Minister’s Award for essay writing and published three books, blending creativity with educational impact.

My English lessons are interactive, student-centered, and designed to make learning fun and effective. We typically meet in a hybrid format—online via Zoom, Teams for flexibility or in-person at convenient locations in Stoke-on-Trent like Newcastle-under-Lyme. Sessions last 45-60 minutes, starting with a warm-up discussion to assess your needs, followed by core activities, and ending with feedback and homework tips.

Content is customized to your level: For primary/11+ students, we focus on fundamentals like reading comprehension, vocabulary games, and creative writing prompts. GCSE and A-Level learners dive into literary analysis, essay structuring, and exam prep using texts like Shakespeare or modern novels, incorporating figurative language and critical thinking. Dynamics are supportive and dynamic—I use real-life examples, group discussions (in small classes), and interactive tools like quizzes or role-plays to keep things lively. No two lessons are the same; I adapt based on your progress, ensuring you build skills while enjoying the process.
