Experienced Graphic Designer and University Lecturer in Fashion Communications.

I am a working, freelance art director and graphic designer with 14+ years of industry experience. I currently a graphic design business, where I mainly design magazines and printed publications. You can view examples of this work at

I am also a part-time University lecturer, on a BA (Hons) Fashion Communications undergraduate course, teaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. I deliver seminars, presentations and interactive workshops across all areas of fashion communications including planning and carrying out photoshoots, image and video editing, branding, social media marketing, editorial design, printing processes and how to use industry standard software.

I aim for all of my lessons to be simple and easy to understand, with tasks and deliverables to achieve by the end. If something is not clear, I work with students until they get it. I have a good balance of allowing for creative freedom, while still sticking to a set criteria and goals to achieve.

I am organised, calm and reassuring. Any feedback given is always well meaning and constructive, often with an action plan of how to progress and improve.

I like to make students aware of the vast amount of different careers and pathways available to them within the art and design industry. I am passionate about keeping creative vocations alive and passing down my knowledge to the next generation.
