I am a dedicated, patient, and adaptable educator with a strong commitment to supporting every learner’s individual needs. My key qualities include excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students. I am highly organised and reflective in my practice, always looking for ways to improve my teaching and ensure that each lesson is meaningful and engaging.
I have over five years of teaching and tutoring experience, working with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. My experience includes supporting students up to the age of 16, helping them develop their skills in English, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. I have also worked closely with students with additional needs, including those with autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and ADHD. This has strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, remain patient and flexible, and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
My teaching method is student-centred and tailored to individual learning styles. I use a variety of strategies, including interactive discussions, scaffolded tasks, and practical examples, to make learning accessible and engaging. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps and provide clear guidance, while encouraging independence and critical thinking. I also use regular feedback and assessment to track progress and adapt my approach where needed.
