My lessons will be catered to each student and what sort of learning works best for you. I will be incorporating lots of timed practice questions as well, we will go through, mark them and find points of strength and weakness of the student in terms of knowledge and exam technique. We will be working with the specification of the exam board the student will sit their exam with to ensure they have the best outcome of their learning. I will also focus on what the student may find difficult during their lessons and school and aide them into understanding better. I am happy to focus on what the student thinks their weakest subjects are, exploring what the may be finding difficult and helping them gain a deeper understanding. We will be revising and reviewing past contents of learning every lesson for at least 10 minutes to strengthen knowledge and aiding with memorisation skills. Closer to exams we will be doing many practice papers and identifying areas we need to work on to achieve the best results possible. I will also focus on making sure parents/guardians are aware of theoretically child’s progress and things they can be doing to help their child to make the most of our lessons. Being a recent GCSE student myself I have been through the process and know what it is like to be in the students shoes so, I will know how to proceed ensuring they get the best results possible. I cannot wait to start learning with you guys!
