My lessons are structured, supportive and focused on results. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, exam board and specific goals. Each session has a clear focus, whether that is mastering a topic, improving essay structure, analysing sources, or practising exam questions under timed conditions.

I model strong answers, break down complex ideas into manageable steps, and teach students how to build clear arguments with evidence and analysis. A large part of my approach focuses on exam technique and structure, as this is often what makes the biggest difference at GCSE and A-Level.

Students are encouraged to ask questions and think critically rather than memorise information. I provide detailed feedback on written work and practical strategies they can apply independently. I aim to build confidence as well as improve grades, so students leave lessons feeling more capable and in control of their subject.
