Hi, I'm glad your here and exited about taking the first step on a journey that will open up the incredible world of science!

My name is Kerala, I am a Biology graduate with a Masters in filmmaking for Science and Natural history TV. I have been working in factual television for over four years so I live and breath all of the most up to date science.

My background gives me the perfect combination of scientific analysis and creative flare and deep understanding of what makes people tick. This allows me to meet you wherever you are, whether that's dipping your toes into photosynthesis or writing essays on your favourite wetland habitat. Whatever your goal is I will spend time getting to know you and supporting you on your journey to success.

No two students are alike and so no two lessons will be alike. We will focus on learning your study style and using that to our advantage, this may mean finding music, tv shows, blogs, scientific experts or even friends that can deepen our knowledge alongside more traditional methods of study. I'm not going to make you write your notes ten times or use flashcards unless they work for you.

I appreciate for many, passing exams will be the main focus for our time together, but I will also encourage you to develop a critical scientific mind and find joy in discovering how incredible the world around us really is!
