My lessons are structured, supportive and tailored to each individual student. We begin with clear goals and a personalised plan, whether that’s building strong foundations as a beginner, preparing for exams, or developing performance skills.

Each lesson typically includes technique work, reading skills, rhythm training and repertoire, alongside guidance on effective practice at home. With over 20 years of teaching experience across private and school settings, I focus on building real musical understanding and confidence, not just learning pieces by rote.

I teach children, teenagers and adults, and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles and personalities. My aim is to create steady progress in a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel both challenged and supported.
