As all lessons are tailored to your ability and goals, the content will vary. I use a range of methods including past papers (of your exam board if applicable), videos, handouts and games. If there is a particular learning style that works better for you, we can definitely incorporate it! These classes are for you to learn, but also have fun so if there are any ideas, suggestions or concerns you have, nothing is off the table, just let me know!

I believe to get the most out of learning a language, it also helps to use a range of resources to immerse yourself outside of the classroom environment. For this reason, I also provide extra resources like movies, music and websites. (Don't worry, these are optional but will help in facilitating long-term learning and consolidation of words, phrases and grammar!)

I like a relaxed learning environment so while classes will be comprehensive, they won't be pressurised. Stress is not conducive to a good relationship to learning and so, I avoid facilitating a pressurised environment where possible.

If possible, I would like to utilise groupwork as studies show better language-learning when done in groups. Of course this may not always be possible but if it is, you will be informed ahead of time (or you can opt out, it's totally up to you!!)

I admit I have only experience in teaching Spanish on a casual level, but I believe that what I may lack in professional experience, I make up in enthusiasm. As I'm still going through education myself, I understand the pressure you may be going through and can provide support in this aspect. Furthermore, due to leaving secondary education within the last 3 years, I believe I have a more fresh, flexible approach to teaching than others may have.
