Hi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic Geography tutor with over a year of experience tutoring GCSE and A Level students across exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and WJEC/Eduqas.

I’m currently studying for a Master’s degree in International Security in France, having previously achieved a First Class degree and 3 A*s at A Level. I have a particular passion for both human and physical geography, and having lived in the UK, Japan and Kenya, I enjoy bringing real-world perspectives into my lessons.

My approach goes beyond simply learning content. The key to achieving high marks in Geography is learning how to think geographically. I focus on helping students understand how to analyse processes, make connections, evaluate evidence and develop nuanced arguments, rather than simply memorising case studies.

I therefore place a strong emphasis on exam technique, essay writing and applying knowledge to unfamiliar questions. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether that means building confidence, revising difficult topics or preparing intensively for exams.

I also have experience tutoring students with SEN and different learning needs, and pride myself on being patient, flexible and encouraging.

My previous students have given me great feedback, and my goal is for every student to leave a lesson thinking more like a geographer.
