I'm an experienced secondary school Languages teacher (10+ years). Over the years I've taught German, French, Spanish and Latin! I've worked in high-performing London schools, both comprensive and grammar. I tailor my lessons to the needs of my students and can diagnose these quickly! Over the years I've built up a teaching style that's fun and engaging but also rigorous. For me it's important to blend plenty of speaking and repetition with scaffolded reading, listening and writing. My recent experience as Head of Department in a busy secondary school means I'm well trained in the new GCSE spec. I've also got many years of A-Level teaching under my belt and know the course well. As such I'm very happy to train students who need it in exam-specific skills for various qualifications. Oxbridge support also available!
