Katie Jones

I am passionate about psychology and love sharing this passion with my students. I have been tutoring for the past 9 years and enjoy it so much it has been my full-time job for the past 3 years. I have a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a MSc (Distinction) in Occupational & Organisational Psychology, and am currently completing a postgraduate certificate in online and distance learning. I have successfully helped many neurodiverse students to achieve their academic goals, including those with dyslexia, ASD, and anxiety disorders.

I offer daytime and evening sessions for students from GCSE to postgraduate levels personalising each session to the student`s needs. My tuition aims are to help students to gain in depth knowledge of each topic and the critiques/evaluations of theories and research, increasing their confidence through mentoring and support.

For A-level and GCSE I specialise in the AQA, Edexcel and CIE curriculums, helping students to learn and create an understanding of content, approaches, theories and evaluation requirements. I provide multiple ways of learning and revision techniques, particularly focusing on exam writing techniques to gain maximum marks.

For undergraduate and postgraduate students I provide support for essay and report writing to meet assignment criteria, providing feedback and advice on their work. I also provide guidance research and help support their academic and professional development.

Whilst I specialise in psychology, I have worked with clients across a range of disciplines including nursing, history & business management, again tailoring their sessions to meet their needs to help them plan their ongoing learning and exam revision.

I have worked with students both face-to-face and online for the past 8 years but am currently only available for online sessions.
