My teaching format typically involves a mix of explaining key concepts, working through practice problems, and discussing real-world applications to deepen understanding. I like to begin each session with a quick review of previous topics, ensuring a solid foundation before moving on to new material. I encourage questions and active participation, as I find that students learn best when they are involved in the process.
I have many years of experience teaching Maths to students of various ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners. My approach is patient and supportive, aiming to boost confidence as well as competence. I also provide resources and practice exercises to reinforce learning outside of lessons.
I have just qualified as an English as a foreign language teacher, and I have lived in Germany for a year where I helped friends and the people I lived with to gain confidence in speaking English.
I tutored during COVID when I knew people who were struggling with online school, and I have tutored casually with family friends for the past few years. I have lots of experience with GCSE level tutoring but have had experience with all ages and levels.
