My name is Katie, I attend a secondary school in Nottingham and my favourite subject is maths. I love learning and teaching maths to everybody, as I feel that maths is a subject that some people find difficult, and it is my aim to make it easier for you. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and sewing. I am also doing the Further Maths course, which is an extra GCSE in maths, and I intend to do Maths A-level too. I understand that not everybody likes maths, or finds it interesting, but it is a core subject that if you fail at GCSE, you must retake. Therefore, if you don't like maths, this should hopefully mean that you can get it over and done with and you don't have to retake it. Although, if you do enjoy maths, like me, then this is a fun way for you to get even better at what you love doing. Especially if one day, you'd like to go into a career that maths is a part of. I've always wanted to be an accountant when I am an adult, and maths is a huge part of that. So, even if you hate maths, I hope you find this a valuable and interesting experience, so you can unlock your full mathematical potential.
