Katie Keiller

I am a third year Maths and Physics student at the University of Durham and I have experience in tutoring GCSE maths. In the past, I have worked with students over an extended period of time and helped them achieve the grades they were proud of.
My teaching style each lesson would depend on the student’s needs, either focussing on exam preparation/ technique or on individual skills and methods from their specification.
I have also had classroom teaching experience, having taken part in a 3-week teaching internship last summer. This involved being a classroom assistant in secondary school science classes, as well as leading a lesson. This experience gave me a wider picture of teaching, and helped me improve my explanation skills.
