Welcome! I am a professional music teacher providing 5* rated, face-to-face piano lessons from my home studio in the Taunton area.

While I welcome students of all ages and abilities, I specialise in weekday daytime lessons (mornings and afternoons). I am currently running a waiting list for any after-work or after-school time slots.

My studio is perfectly set up to accommodate:

• Active Retirees: Keep your brain sharp, improve coordination, and explore a fulfilling new hobby. All my lessons will give you the cognitive benefits of learning and playing music, and are tailored to your own pace — no exams required unless you want them!
• Shift Workers & Rota-Based Professionals: If you work in healthcare, emergency services, or hospitality, I offer flexible daytime scheduling to fit around your changing shift patterns.
• Adult Returners: Whether you haven't touched an instrument since school or used to play until your career took over, I provide a welcoming, responsible, and structured learning environment.

I have taught the piano since 2012, and know that music is transformative. Whether someone is seven or seventy, learning the piano will build your confidence and curiosity as well as teaching you a wonderful new skill.

My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and responsive to the individual. Some students enjoy working towards exams; others simply want to play varied music or reconnect with an instrument they once knew. Lessons are shaped around what matters to you.

There are also free piano parties for students three times a year: a chance for you to become part of our lovely community, play music, and enjoy some cake! I work with students of all ages, and I place a strong emphasis on musical understanding, enjoyment, and steady progress — without pressure.
