My lessons are structured but flexible, designed to feel supportive and encouraging rather than stressful. I use age-appropriate activities, conversation, and hands-on learning to keep children engaged while building literacy, language, and foundational academic skills. Each lesson is tailored to the child’s pace and needs, with a strong focus on confidence and progress.

I am an experienced early childhood and elementary educator with over 15 years of experience working with children from birth through elementary school. My background includes special education, early intervention, preschool, aftercare, and one-on-one tutoring, supporting both typically developing children and those with diverse learning needs. I hold a BA in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Intervention and Family Support, and I specialize in individualized instruction, early literacy, and language development. Throughout my career, I have collaborated closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support children’s academic growth, confidence, and overall well-being in both in-person and virtual learning environments.

My lessons focus on early literacy, language development, and foundational academic skills using engaging, age-appropriate materials. Sessions are interactive and balanced, combining structured instruction with conversation, games, and hands-on activities to keep young learners motivated. I adjust pacing and strategies in real time based on a child’s responses, ensuring lessons feel achievable and supportive. I emphasize clear routines, positive reinforcement, and gradual skill-building so children feel confident, successful, and comfortable taking academic risks.
