I have a wide range of resources that I use, ranging from text books, websites, short clips, exam past papers and original sources. Lessons are tailored to your needs and what is required: exam preparation, business purposes, personal use or to improve your language level generally for fun. I try to find topics of interest to you to make your learning more relevant but I also like to draw on cultural themes and current affairs to keep the language up to date and contemporary, drawing from my own broad experience and international background. The lessons will be varied and generally encompass the four skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening unless there is a specific skill or grammar point you need to work on. For example, I first studied Spanish at university for academic purposes, to take exams and read original texts and papers written in Spanish but this led onto a life living and working in business in Spain and Mexico and later to teaching Spanish & English in schools in the UK and abroad so I know there are different types of lessons for different skillsets. However, whatever the reason you need to lean Spanish or English my lessons are always well-prepared, effective and relevant and my approach as a teacher is friendly, patient and open.
