I am a friendly, patient, and motivated tutor offering Maths and English support for primary and KS3 students. My aim is to help students feel more confident in their abilities while improving their understanding of key topics. I believe that with the right support, clear explanations, and a positive learning environment, every student can succeed and enjoy learning.

My lessons are designed to be simple, structured, and easy to follow. I usually begin by asking the student what they are currently learning in school or what they need help with. This could include homework, revision, or specific topics they find difficult. I then explain the topic step-by-step in a clear and understandable way, using simple language and examples to make learning easier. After explaining, I guide the student through practice questions to ensure they fully understand the topic before moving on.

For Maths, I help students develop problem-solving skills and build strong foundations in important topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and basic algebra. I break down each problem into smaller steps so it is easier to understand, and I encourage students to try questions themselves while I support them. This helps build confidence and independence.

For English, I support students with reading, writing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. I help them improve their writing by showing them how to structure sentences clearly and use the correct grammar. I can also help with reading comprehension by going through texts together and asking questions to improve understanding. My aim is to help students become more confident in both written and spoken English.

I always adapt my lessons to suit each student’s level and learning style. Every student is different, so I make sure my teaching approach matches their needs. I keep lessons relaxed and supportive so students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe this is important because it creates a positive learning environment where students can improve without feeling pressured or stressed.

As a current student myself, I understand how Maths and English are taught in schools today. This allows me to explain topics in a way that is relatable and easier to understand. I am also aware of common challenges students face, and I know how to help them overcome these difficulties step-by-step.

Lessons are held online using Zoom or Google Meet, making them flexible and easy to attend from home. I am available during evenings and weekends, which makes it convenient for students and parents. I always aim to be reliable, punctual, and well-prepared for every lesson.

My goal is not only to help students complete their homework but also to help them truly understand what they are learning. I want students to feel proud of their progress and gain the confidence they need to succeed in school. I am committed to supporting each student and helping them reach their full potential in a positive and encouraging way.
