Karimah Farag

I am very calm, approachable, friendly, adaptable and a great communicator. I have experience tutoring young children in my own family, and enjoy reading with them and using phonics to further their English capabilities (my nephew struggled with this as he had a hearing problem for his first 3 years). I am creative and patient, and love to encourage and provide positive reinforcements. I also enjoy making learning materials to encourage young children with reading and writing.

I am half Egyptian and half English and have often helped family friends to further their understanding in written and spoken English. This has proven to be incredible in making them more confident in day to day situations and written communication like letters. I believe it is very beneficial to learn the basics to be able to fit in and communicate in British society without being excluded!

I have been a Manager in various working environments and delivered training to different age groups. This included young people between the ages of 16-21, and developing plans with their own unique goals during their volunteering experience. I also developed individual roles to appeal to young people and helped them with their applications for creative courses. I hope these different scenarios will evidence my abilities and enthusiasm as a tutor.
