As an Arabic tutor with over two years of experience, I know the importance of engaging and interactive lessons. My lessons will always be prepared with a clear goal in mind so that you know that your time is not being wasted. Furthermore, I strongly prefer an interactive approach to learning that encourages you (the learner) to develop the necessary skills for independent linguistic study. I am acutely aware of the fact that one cannot learn a language by solely relying on the progress made during lessons, so I would like to empower all of my students to continue to progress and flourish in their linguistic studies without me. With this in mind, I incorporate practical skills such as using a dictionary and investigating grammatical questions within my lessons so that students are capable of decoding texts themselves outside of their lessons with me. Notwithstanding this, I will also assist students within the lessons through guided readings, conversation practice or reviewing things that they have written. With respect to conversation practice, I like to give students ample time to express themselves before recommending improvements with respect to their grammatical constructions or lexical choices. I am specifically experienced in teaching ?arf (morphology) and Na?w to beginner and intermediate students so please do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested in studying either of these sciences at any level. Lastly, please note that I do not teach Arabic dialects. My teaching is exclusively focused on Modern Standard Arabic and Classical Arabic. Also, all lessons will take place online.
