My lessons are calm, engaging, and completely personalised, no two sessions are ever the same, because no two learners are the same. I combine visuals, hands-on tools, games, and real-life examples to make learning feel meaningful and enjoyable. Each lesson is structured around your goals, whether that’s building confidence, improving study skills, or understanding tricky concepts in new ways.
As a qualified primary teacher with a first-class honours degree in education and lived experience of dyslexia and autism, I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to every session. My teaching approach was shaped by my own experiences of feeling misunderstood in education, so I’ve made it my mission to create a learning environment where every individual feels capable and valued. I’ve worked with learners from all backgrounds, from early primary to exam-level students, helping them find strategies that make sense for how they think and process information.
Each session blends academic learning with coaching and wellbeing support. We work on subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and study skills while also developing key life skills like time management, organisation, and emotional regulation. I help learners understand how they learn best so they can apply those strategies independently, building confidence that lasts beyond the lesson.
Online sessions are delivered through Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, using interactive whiteboards, slides, and real-time feedback tools to make lessons visually engaging. For in-person sessions, I bring multi-sensory materials such as counters, colour-coded resources, visual aids, and even fidget tools to support focus and understanding. Lessons are flexible, if a student needs a movement break, a discussion moment, or to approach a topic differently, we adapt in real time.
I also love weaving creativity into learning, using storytelling, problem-solving, and role-play activities to make even tricky subjects approachable. I believe laughter, curiosity, and kindness are the foundation of great learning experiences.
My lessons are ideal for neurodivergent learners, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, or processing differences. Parents often describe sessions as “calm but energising”, a safe space where mistakes are part of the journey, not something to fear.
My goal is simple: to make learning feel good again. To create a space where children and young people feel seen, supported, and proud of who they are. Because education should empower every learner, and when we teach through connection, confidence, and kindness, every mind can truly shine.
