I hold an MA in Yoga alongside Diploma in Yoga Therapy, with 5+ years guiding 1:1 and small group classes online. My academic background means I blend traditional yogic philosophy with evidence-based movement, making classes both meaningful and safe.
*What lessons are like*
Every session starts with a brief check-in on how your body and energy feel that day. We then move through breathwork, a tailored asana sequence, and finish with guided relaxation or meditation. I teach vinyasa for strength and mobility, slow flow for nervous system reset, and restorative yoga for deep recovery. Classes are 60 minutes by default, with 45 minute options for busy schedules. All levels are welcome. Props and modifications are always included.
*Teaching methods*
My MA training shaped my approach: I focus on functional alignment, injury prevention, and the therapeutic application of yoga. Expect clear, anatomical cues and options for every pose. I use hands-off adjustments by default and only offer hands-on with consent. Philosophy and breathwork are woven in practically, so you understand the why behind the practice.
*Who I teach*
I specialise in beginners intimidated by studios, desk workers with back and hip tension, seniors wanting safe mobility, and students rehabbing with physio clearance. I teach in English and can support bilingual students.
*My qualities*
Students call me patient, knowledgeable, and grounded. With my MA, I bring depth beyond the physical postures. My goal is for you to leave class stronger, fresher, calmer, and more connected to your body and mind
