Kanako Sato

I am a professional pianist offering structured and engaging online piano lessons via Zoom or Google Meet to students in the UK and internationally. I hold a Master of Arts in Piano Performance from the Royal Academy of Music, London (Distinction), and have several years of teaching experience, including university-level instruction.

My lessons are carefully adapted for the online format, ensuring clear communication, effective technique guidance, and interactive learning. I teach students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced pianists—supporting goals such as ABRSM exams, competition preparation, or personal development.

I focus on building a strong technical foundation while developing musical expression, confidence, and independent practice skills. Each lesson is tailored to the individual, with structured guidance and clear progress goals.

As an active performer, I have won prizes at international competitions and performed as a concerto soloist with the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra. This performing experience informs my teaching, offering practical, musical insight in every lesson.
