Kamilla Amina Benkara

I bring four years of experience tutoring students both one-to-one and in structured group environments. As an Engineering undergraduate at King’s College London, I have a strong background in STEM and a lot of experience navigating the 11+ and GCSE systems with students.

I aim to build a supportive, low-pressure space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am highly adaptable and reliable, ensuring parents receive clear updates on their child’s progress.

My teaching method focuses on breaking complex, multi-step problems into simple, manageable stages. Because every student learns differently, I introduce multiple visual or logical approaches until a concept clicks. We will focus heavily on active problem-solving and direct exam technique with worked examples and mark scheme analysis to help students build confidence and secure top grades.

I work closely with students to develop long-term study habits, smart time management and effective revision strategies. Every lesson is structured around the individual’s learning pace, ensuring weaker areas are addressed, while reinforcing existing strengths.

I emphasise building independent critical thinking skills so students can tackle a range of exam questions with ease. I provide custom practice materials, past paper walk-throughs and targeted homework. Through interactive practice. I help students approach exams with clarity, structure and confidence.

Ultimately, my goal is to make education accessible, enjoyable and rewarding for every student I teach. I am dedicated to creating tailored learning plans that accommodate busy schedules, adapt seamlessly into the school curriculum and consistently unlock each student’s fullest academic potential.
