Teaching Philosophy From my personal view, I feel teaching chemistry is an art of stimulating students’ curiosity, passion for the knowledge of wonders of chemistry to kindle their creativity, enhance their critical thinking ability and prepare them for the after campus complex challenging life. This is why I always try to develop dynamic, interesting, cogent lectures that blend the basics of chemistry with examples drawn from their experience. Moreover, I guide students to build up their self learning skills through intensive reading, discussions, seminars and debates. Of course the hand on skills acquired from laboratory sessions are highly considered. During lab sessions I keenly observe and guide students’ experimental performance to ensure mastering the use of instruments along with high accuracy and precession. Students are encouraged to communicate with their colleagues and others to express their views about topics related to different fields of chemistry. Preparedness for the after graduation is of course not neglected. During their course work, students are motivated to undergo some training programs in facilities that blend their classroom knowledge with industrial applications. Finally, I constantly keep mutual respect based cordial relationship with my students. I believe that this is vital to persuade them to approach me for discussion freely.
