My Tutoring Approach

My lessons are designed to help students build real confidence in Spanish through structure, immersion, and fun. Each session is an hour and tailored to the needs, level, and goals of the learner.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques
Vocabulary First Approach
Every lesson starts with a quick 20-word vocabulary test, helping students steadily build a strong, active word bank. Vocabulary is the foundation of fluency, and this routine boosts memory, confidence, and long-term retention.
Learning Through Immersion
I believe language learning should be enjoyable, so I use music, films, TV clips, and cultural moments to bring Spanish to life. This helps students hear natural accents, pick up expressions, and stay motivated.

? The Power of Handwritten Practice
I encourage students to take handwritten notes and complete written exercises, as writing activates memory pathways that improve accuracy in grammar, spelling, and sentence structure—especially important for exam students.

Qualifications & Experience
A in GCSE Spanish*
A in A-Level Spanish
Currently studying Spanish at the University of Nottingham, on track to receive a First Class degree
Over 10 years of Spanish learning experience, plus real-world fluency from living and studying in Spain and using Spanish daily at work
