Juliet Owino

Hello and welcome! I’m a friendly, patient, and TEFL-certified English teacher from Kenya. I completed my TEFL training in 2026, where I studied teaching methodologies, English language skills, grammar and vocabulary, assessment, teaching young learners and adults, and using technology in the classroom.

My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and focused on helping you feel comfortable using English. I believe you learn best when you have opportunities to speak, ask questions, make mistakes, and practice without feeling nervous. Depending on your goals and level, we can focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, or everyday English.

I like to use simple explanations, real-life examples, questions, conversation practice, and engaging activities to make lessons practical and enjoyable. I will adapt each lesson to your needs, whether you are a beginner learning basic English, an adult looking to improve your communication skills, or a young learner building confidence.

My professional experience in remote administrative support and customer communication has also helped me develop strong communication, organisation, patience, and digital skills. I am comfortable teaching online and using technology to create a smooth and engaging learning experience.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel supported and encouraged throughout their learning journey. Whether your goal is to speak more confidently, improve your grammar, prepare for everyday conversations, or simply enjoy learning English, I would be happy to help you achieve your goals.

Book a lesson with me, and let’s make learning English simple, practical, and enjoyable!
