Julie Veenstra

Hi there! My name is Julie, and I am a second-year Biochemistry student at King's College London. My areas of expertise are thus both Biology and Chemistry. I did the IB program and got a 7 for HL Biology and a 6 for HL Chemistry (and graduated with 39 points). I'd be happy to help anyone with these subjects, whether you do the IB, GCSEs, or A levels! I used to be a student mentor for 6th-grade students, so I have interacted with students many times. For my lessons, I take inspiration from my favorite high school teachers and university lecturers. I would use presentations with many visuals, which you can then look back on when revising further. And most importantly, we would cover practice questions to help you feel prepared for any upcoming tests or assignments. I am really passionate about these subjects, and I would love to make my students feel the same! I would be open to both in-person and online tutoring sessions, depending on logistics.
