We will start the lesson by engaging in conversation to the standard of the student, catching up on the activities of their day, how they are feeling and their future plans after our session.
Next, we will practice pronunciation through stating aloud affirmations on the objectives of the session, e.g 'Today we will achieve...'
We will then recap punctuation and how to make use of the period, question mark, exclamation point, comma, colon, semicolon, dash, hyphen, brackets, braces, parentheses, apostrophe, quotation mark, and ellipsis.
Then, we will work on enunciation and read aloud one line/paragraph/page at a time, from a selected book of the student's choice.
After this, we will start a pick'n'mix activity where the student picks a page out of the dictionary and together we select a word and form new sentences.
Homework will consist of a list of sentences incorporating a selected word that I will provide the student.
