I work around the student’s needs - we will work on your individual interests within the field and develop strengths in the areas you might find challenging. Critical reading, essay writing, text analysis and comparison, contextual understanding.

I offer advice and help with the application process for the University of Oxford, as well as writing personal statements, critical essays, unseen prose and poetry analysis and more. We can also work on scheduling, setting deadlines and managing workload, including reading lists and ways of dealing with large amounts of texts.

I am interested in finding out about my students' interests and current ways of working - I believe that personal interests and academic work can connect in exciting ways, and finding those usually encourages more interest in the studied works, even if they seem completely unfamiliar at first!
