I had the pleasure of being taught by Julia Hays during my Access to Higher Education course, where she taught me Biology as part of my preparation for university. Prior to starting the course, I had been out of education for over 15 years and felt quite overwhelmed at the thought of returning to study. However, Julia’s teaching style and supportive approach completely transformed my experience. Julia has an exceptional ability to make complex topics easy to understand. Her lessons were well-structured, engaging, and delivered in a way that catered to each student’s individual needs. She was always professional, patient, and approachable, creating a positive learning environment where everyone felt comfortable asking questions and stepping out of their comfort zone.
