My lessons are conversational, not one-way lectures. We start with a quick check-in on what you already know and where you’re stuck, so I’m not wasting time re-explaining things you’ve already got.

For topics like financial accounting, valuation, or corporate finance, I work through real examples often pulling from actual situations in investment banking since that tends to make concepts click faster than theory alone. For CFA or ACCA prep, we go through practice questions together, and I walk through my thinking out loud so you learn how to approach a problem, not just memorise the answer.

I keep things flexible, more explanation when we’re building a new concept, more practice once you’re comfortable. I’ll often set a small task before our next session too, so we’re not starting from scratch each time.

I’ve spent a lot of time explaining finance to people without a finance background, so I’m used to adjusting how I explain things depending on what actually makes sense to you.
