Joy Xin

Hello! My name is Joy, and I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker currently living in the United Kingdom.

I have experience teaching children, university students and adult learners from a range of backgrounds. My lessons are personalised and designed around each student's level, interests and learning goals.

Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for HSK exams, improving your speaking skills, learning Chinese for travel, or helping your child develop and maintain their Chinese, I will create lessons that suit your needs.

I believe learning a language should be engaging, practical and enjoyable. In my classes, I use conversations, stories, pictures, games and cultural topics to help students build confidence in listening, speaking, reading and writing Chinese.

As someone who has lived and studied abroad for many years, I understand the challenges that language learners can face. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practising Chinese and making steady progress.
