Each lesson follows a clear but flexible structure. I usually begin with a short review of previous content to reinforce learning, followed by the introduction of new topics explained in a simple and logical way. I focus strongly on making complex concepts easy to understand by breaking them down into manageable steps. This is followed by guided practice where we work through examples together, and then independent exercises to ensure understanding and retention.
Depending on your goals, lessons can include a variety of activities such as problem-solving exercises, discussion-based learning, case studies, reading scientific material, and applied examples. I also encourage active participation and questions throughout, as I believe this is essential for deep learning and confidence building.
My background in Medical Biotechnology and ongoing PhD studies in Medicine, Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences allow me to bring real academic and research experience into my teaching. I can support students with biology-related subjects, scientific understanding, exam preparation, and academic writing. My experience as a laboratory technician has also strengthened my ability to explain practical scientific processes clearly and accurately.
In addition, my previous experience as an after-school tutor has helped me develop a patient, supportive, and adaptable teaching style. I am comfortable working with students of different ages and abilities, and I always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
