Joshua Hall-Brown

I am a passionate and dedicated English teacher with a strong background in education, performance, and coaching. My journey into teaching began with a love for communication and cultural exchange, which I’ve developed through both my academic background and international teaching experiences. I hold a Trinity CertTESOL qualification and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and I have taught a wide range of learners, from young children to adults across Europe.

I’m a light-hearted and energetic English teacher who brings creativity, movement, and fun into every lesson. My teaching style is highly interactive and theme-based, designed to make learning enjoyable, engaging, and memorable for students of all ages.

My experience spans a wide range of learners—from young children aged 3–7 in primary school settings, to teenagers aged 11–18 in high schools, and adults of all backgrounds. Outside of England, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching students from across Europe, including Italy, France, Poland, Germany, Spain, and Austria. I also travel frequently with my work, which adds a real-world, cultural dimension to my teaching and helps my students see English as a living, global language.

Outside the classroom, I’m a semi-professional runner, fitness enthusiast, chess player, and passionate traveler. These personal interests often spark curiosity and connection with my students, making lessons more relatable and dynamic. Whether we’re acting out a travel adventure, playing a vocabulary game on the move, or simply chatting about life beyond the classroom, I aim to create a positive, uplifting space where students feel inspired and confident to learn.
