Joseph Livings

I’m a Civil Engineering MEng graduate from Newcastle University, where I achieved a 2:1. After university, I secured a place on Cundall’s prestigious graduate scheme as a Civil Engineer, and I now work as a Project Manager for the RSK Group, delivering real-world engineering solutions.

Outside of engineering, I also train in acting at Kingdom Drama School under Ashley Walters, which has sharpened my communication skills and allows me to connect with students in a clear, engaging, and relatable way.

Academically, I achieved 6 A*s and 4 As at GCSE, including A*s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, and History, and I hold A-levels in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry.

I offer GCSE and A-Level Maths tutoring, specialising in:
•Building confidence and breaking down complex concepts
•Exam preparation and revision strategy
•Real-life applications of maths in engineering and problem-solving

Sessions are available in-person in the Matlock area or online, with flexible availability on evenings and weekends. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or need help catching up, I’ll work with you to achieve your goals in a supportive and structured way.
