I tutor across all GCSE subjects and specialise Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as A-Level Biology and Maths. Having attained 8/9s across all core GCSE subjects(Eng lit lang + sciences + maths) I have both the experience in understanding the content and delivering it effectively to my students.

With over 4 years of tutoring experience, I tailor every lesson to the individual student and their specific exam board, ability and goals. I focus not only on understanding the content, but also on developing the exam technique needed to achieve the highest possible marks.

My lessons include:

Bespoke homework set after each lesson, targeting the student’s specific weaknesses and areas for improvement.
Exam-focused teaching with plenty of practice using realistic exam questions.
Mark-scheme specific guidance, focusing on the small details students commonly miss or “trip up” on when answering questions.
Exam technique to help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for and how to structure high-mark answers.
Active recall and spaced practice to strengthen understanding and long-term retention.
Regular feedback to identify progress and ensure lessons remain targeted and effective.

Having achieved Grade 8/9s across my GCSE Sciences and A/A grades at A-Level*, and now studying BSc Applied Medical Sciences at UCL, I understand what is required to achieve top grades and aim to pass this knowledge on to my students.

My goal is to help students build confidence, genuinely understand the subject and maximise every available mark in their exams.
