Welcome everyone! Something that I think grows the learning potential is practice, so I love to keep my lessons as short as possible using presentations, followed by most of the lesson time focused on practice via conversation with myself along plenty of visual resources to aid my students. I also love sharing my experiences in the form of advice, particularly one that has been well received before, helping my students find their most confortable form of studying/learning. I consider myself to be adaptable to every students necessities, and creative enough to use technology to our favor, considering both its advantages and disadvantages.
In case of my Spanish lessons, I like to focus on my students to reach one goal at a time, with one of my standard goals which is completely being able to understand my native Spanish and hold the conversation with me. As plenty of my students already have this subject at school, I also like to review and practice the things they are learning at their school class, with the addition of my own lessons, trying to avoid too much knowledge at once.
Finally, my Biology lessons are mostly for middle school to high school students. With each student I adapt even more to their school program and focus on reviewing and explaining each topic they are struggling with. My forte is cell biology but I also develop my lessons in the whole field (DNA, cell, animal, plant, human).
