I learned English as a second language when i was 7 years old because i am originally from Portugal. For my lessons I like to use a range of resources such as youtube videos, worksheets and even things like magazine articles. Ultimately my lessons are tailored around each individual depending on what way they learn best. I am currently in college and don’t have much experience in teaching however i have previously supported portuguese people with my translation skills. I also have first-hand experience on what it is like to learn English as a second language. My lessons range from 1hr- 2hrs long 1 or 2 times a week. The very fist session will consist of an initial assessment and an introduction so I can establish what level of English the student already has aswell as work out what is the best approach to use thorough out the rest of the lessons.
