I am a licensed educator in the United States, and I hold a certificate in TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language). I have ten years of teaching experience to students of English as a foreign language, having taught in high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools. I was also evaluated as a highly effective teacher by my state education department.

Additionally, I have a degree in business from the University of California, and my lessons are informed by years of experience in the business world. Sessions with me can be used to enhance your international business relationships and increase your opportunities for business and professional success.

Since I was born and raised in California, I also offer an opportunity to learn American English, with the unique accent, slang, and phrases that make American English so different from the English spoken in the United Kingdom and elsewhere in the world. It is extremely important to gain familiarity with American English, since it is the primary dialect that drives global commerce, and is spoken by 300 million people in the United States.

My lessons are dynamic, with online visual aids and professional lesson plans. My goal is for the student and myself to each be talking 50% of the time. With interactive lessons, reinforced by questions and repetition, and focus on pronunciation, vocabulary, and accent, your English proficiency will improve, as well as your prospects for employment, connections, and success.
